After introducing the latest iPhone series last month, Apple is now said to be heading towards the launch of new smart home and core computing products.
Apple’s Welcome Home event announced
Apple’s marketing chief, Greg Joswiak, yesterday announced the date for an upcoming event. The company’s next product launch event is scheduled for 13th October, and the event is announced with the tagline “Welcome Home.”

It is not revealed which products will be revealed at this event, but reports indicate that the company may unveil a dedicated smart display hub, a refreshed HomePod mini, a new Apple TV and Siri AI integrations into the Apple home ecosystem.
Apart from this, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has recently shared that the company is also planning a second launch event in October.
Apple tipped to host a second launch event in October
According to the report, the product launch is scheduled for 27th October. In this launch event, the company is said to introduce its first touch-screen MacBooks and a new iPad Mini. The announcements will also include versions of the 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac with M6 chips.
The touch-screen MacBooks are rumoured to feature OLED display panels, lighter than their predecessors and will integrate the Dynamic Island interface previously native to the iPhone line. The redesigned iPad Mini is also said to feature an OLED display, adopt a landscape-oriented front-facing camera and an overhauled internal speaker design.
