Here’s more about the update.
Snapdragon Summit 2025 – To be Conducted From 23rd September – 25th September, 2025
At the Computex 2025 Keynote, Qualcomm President and CEO – Christiano Amon officially confirmed that the next Snapdragon Summit 2025 will be conducted from the 23rd of September 2025 to the 25th of the same month, and it is going to be held in Maui, Hawaii. Reportedly, it was also shared that the next Snapdragon X chips for PC devices will be unveiled at the upcoming event, however no other further details were revealed concerning the brand’s other products – particularly about the next flagship mobile chip at the mentioned event.
As per other updates, the brand is believed to introduce its Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip most likely at the Snapdragon Summit 2025 itself and an announcement regarding it can be expected. Also to add, Xiaomi’s flagship 16 series which would possibly be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip may be debuted by the end of September 2025 in the Chinese market after this.
Speaking more, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip is said to retain the same chip configuration (6 + 2 cores), and is likely going to offer 26% increased performance when compared to its predecessor on AnTuTu. A new Adreno GPU is also expected to be used to deliver 30% increased graphics performance (via). In related news, the standard Xiaomi 16 smartphone also found its place in a report recently, and it was tipped to feature a compact design and pack a 6800 mAh battery backup. Additionally, it was also tipped to launch in H2 2025 and would probably claim the crown of ‘biggest battery on a compact-sized phone’ following its launch.
Stay tuned for more updates.
