The Snapdragon for India event for the Indian region has now been officially confirmed by Qualcomm and it is scheduled to take place on the 7th of May 2026, and we get to see the brand sharing a new post via its official X handle revealing the same. We also get to see that the brand has teased the upcoming event with the tagline “Breakthrough announcements. Redefining everyday experiences,” and the post also mentions “We’ve saved the best for now. Catch us LIVE for the big reveal.”

Snapdragon for India Event – Key Details
The Snapdragon for India event that has been confirmed by Qualcomm for the Indian market will be taking place on the 7th of May 2026, and as mentioned, the brand has already teased it via its official X handle. As per what has been shared, the event is expected to bring new announcements; however, specific details regarding what all will be unveiled are still not known.
Looking at the product launches around the same time, it is understood that OnePlus will be introducing its Nord CE 6 series on the same day, and the standard Nord CE 6 device is already confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC.
Adding more, Vivo had also confirmed to launch two new smartphones in the Indian market – the Vivo X300 Ultra and the Vivo X300 FE, on May 6th 2026. The former is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the other device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
Apart from these, Qualcomm hasn’t shared anything more regarding what will be revealed during the upcoming event, however, it is most likely that the brand could be focusing on promoting these devices which are powered by its Snapdragon chipsets at the event.
