Earlier, we reported that OriginOS 7 had been unveiled in the Chinese market, along with its rollout schedule for eligible Vivo and iQOO smartphones and tablets. Now, the brand has announced the OriginOS 7 Preview Program for Vivo X300 Pro users in India.

OriginOS 7 Preview Program – Vivo X300 Pro India Users
As per the post shared by Vivo India on X, registrations for the OriginOS 7 Preview Program are now open for Vivo X300 Pro users in India starting today, that is september 16th 2026, and currently only 500 slots are available.
With the Preview Program now being made available in the country, this suggests that Vivo could announce its stable OriginOS 7 rollout schedule for Indian users soon. However, the latest post does not reveal exactly when the stable update will begin rolling out.
Speaking more, the stable OriginOS 7 update could possibly be introduced in India alongside the Vivo X500 series. As per rumours, the upcoming flagship smartphone series may make its Indian debut next month, in October 2026.
For the Chinese market, Vivo has already confirmed that the X500 series will break its cover on 21st September 2026. The Vivo Watch 6 and Vivo Buds Clip will also be unveiled alongside the smartphone series.
To register, just follow the steps below –
- Go to your phone Settings.
- Tap System Update.
- Tap the gear/three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Version Trial (or Trial version / Upcoming updates) > Closed Beta Sign-Up > View Details.
- Fill out and submit the registration form.
- Wait for review/approval notice from vivo or iQOO.
Once approved, you can download and install the update.
