Redmi Pad SE Receives the TDRA Certification: Launch Date Might be Approaching

Xiaomi is planning to launch the special edition version of its already launched Redmi Pad tablet, the Redmi Pad SE and the device had previously appeared on many certification platforms. However, the device at first was mistaken to be the possible Redmi Pad 2 or the Redmi M84 tablet.

Now, after being certified by multiple certification authorities, the upcoming Redmi Pad SE has received the TDRA certification.

Redmi Pad SE TDRA Certification

Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad SE tablet has received the TDRA certification with the equipment registration number ER23154/23 and the device has made its appearance on the certification platform with the model number, 23073RPBFG. This is the global variant of the device and its TDRA certification will be valid only till the 9th of August 2026. The Chinese variant of the device will have the model number, 23073RPBFC.

As mentioned above, the device had previously appeared on multiple certification platforms and this includes China’s 3C, Singapore’s IMDA, European EEC, and the FCC certification platforms. On the FCC certification platform, a different model of the device has been certified with the model number,  23073RPBFL. The Chinese variant of the tablet has also appeared on the Geekbench database as well, which revealed a few of its key specifications.

To add, a few days back, the render images of the device were also revealed, which looks similar to the previous Redmi Pad tablet. The renders featured the device in green, grey, and purple colors and revealed the device to have a Dolby Atmos quad speaker setup, a USB type-C charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

As far as its specs are concerned, it is reported that the device is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and is likely to run on the Android 13-based MIUI 14. The device is also expected to feature an 11″ LCD display screen which will have a screen resolution of 1200×1920 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. For its cameras, the device is also expected to have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

Regarding its launch, the device is said to have its launch alongside the Xiaomi 13T series smartphones and if this is true, we can expect the device to launch by early next month.
