Upcoming Redmi Pad SE Renders Revealed: Three Colour Choices with Quad Speakers

Xiaomi will be launching a new Redmi tablet device, the Redmi Pad SE and the render images of the upcoming tablet have now been revealed.

Redmi Pad SE Renders Revealed

The render images that are now available feature the upcoming Redmi Pad SE in three colours and the tablet looks more or less similar to the previous Redmi Pad. At first, the tablet was said to be the next Redmi Pad 2 but was later revealed as the special edition, or the SE version of the first Redmi Pad tablet with a much lower price point.

As this is the SE version with a lower price point, the specifications have been compromised particularly in the chipset used. From the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which the Redmi Pad has, the SE version will be powered by a lower-performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset.

The device is also reported to have a codename of “Xun” and is going to run on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom user interface. It is also said to feature an 11″ LCD display panel with a screen resolution of 1200×1920 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. An 8MP rear camera and a front-facing camera of 5MP are also expected.

Now regarding the renders that have been shared, as mentioned, the device design-wise is similar to the Redmi Pad and comes in three colour choices green, grey and purple. The correct marketing names of the colour variants are not yet available. The renders also reveal that the device will support a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. At the bottom side panel, we are also able to spot a USB type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The upcoming Redmi Pad SE will be launched in the global market and the MIUI builds with firmware versions, MIUI-V14.0.1.0.TMUMIXM and V14.0.1.0.TMUEUXM have been fully prepared. The launch is expected to take place alongside the Xiaomi 13T series devices.
