Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Live Images Revealed Again: Inner Display and Rear Panel Design
Xiaomi’s next foldable smartphone, the Mix Fold 3, is expected to have its debut this month in August and followed by its packaging box and its Mi section images that were shared earlier, the live shots of its inner display and its rear panel have now been revealed.

Firstly, speaking about its inner display, the image of the inner display that has been shared points that the upcoming foldable will be having a full-screen display, thanks to the absence of a punch hole or a notch on the display. It is said that the smartphone will be featuring an under-display camera on its inner display, however, if you look into the image of the cover display that was shared before, a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera can be spotted.
Now regarding the rear panel, the live shot that has been shared reveals that the device might have a leather back and will feature a rectangular-shaped rear camera module. The camera module houses its four cameras along with a pill-shaped unit with an LED flashlight. The Leica branding can also be seen inside the camera module.
One more thing to add, just like the live image of its packaging box, the live shot of the rear panel is also captured on a Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone.
About its cameras, certain reports suggest that the device might have the same cameras of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone and if this is true, the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 might arrive with a 1″ Sony IMX989 50MP OIS main camera, 50MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide angle camera, 50MP OIS telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and a 50MP periscope telephoto OIS camera with 5x optical zoom at its rear. It is also to be noted that a few other reports mention that the device might sport a 50MP Sony IMX800 main camera.
Coming to its other specifications, Xiaomi’s foldable device is expected to be powered by the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with a primary clock speed of 3.36GHz and is likely to be coupled with a 16GB LPDDR5x RAM along with two UFS 4.0 internal storage options of 512GB and 1TB. The device is also expected to be backed by a 4800 mAh battery supporting a 67W wired fast charge feature and a 50W wireless fast charge feature.
Xiaomi’s Mix Fold 3 smartphone has been certified by China’s 3C and MIIT certification authorities and its teaser image has already been shared. The device is soon expected to have its launch and, according to reports, might be launched along with other upcoming Xiaomi devices, which include the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, Redmi Pad 2, and the Redmi K60 Ultra.
