Xiaomi, a renowned smartphone brand, is nowadays the talk of the town because of its highly anticipated foldable smartphone MIX Fold 3. The company has confirmed a few specifications and features of the smartphone and now everyone is waiting to hear about the launch date. Recently Xiaomi’s Redmi general manager, Lu Weibing responded to a user comment on his post on Weibo “Mr Lu when will MIX Fold 3 be released?” with “See you in August”. So now it is confirmed that this foldable flagship will be launched in August in China probably.
He has shared in his post that Xiaomi Smart Manufacturing Digital Intelligence System 2.0 of the Beijing Yizhuang Xiaomi Smart Factory has launched its first mass-produced model will be Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The system’s micron-level precision will help the company to produce folding flagships thinner and stronger, wrote Lu in his post.
Why it’s highly anticipated?
This foldable smartphone boasts a groundbreaking camera system. Xiaomi in collaboration with renowned optics company Leica has integrated a Leica optical full focal length quad camera for the first time in a folding smartphone. This smartphone will come with a 50 MP Sony IMX 858 sensor on an ultrawide angle camera, a telephoto camera, and a periscope telephoto camera. This smartphone is going to be lighter and slimmer in comparison to other foldable smartphones in the market. It’s a highly anticipated smartphone because of its advanced camera specs which will for sure raise the bar high for other foldables.
