Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro smartphone was said to have its launch soon in India and via the Flipkart landing page, key specifications of the upcoming device were revealed. Now, the official Indian launch date of this smartphone has been confirmed, along with its processor and OS upgrade details.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone as was said before will be having its launch on the 3rd of April 2024, next month in the Indian market, at 12PM local time, and it is now confirmed to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset as its processor. The device will have the Android 14 operating system out of the box, and is assured to receive 3 years of OS upgrades.

So as mentioned, we’ll be able to see the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset on the soon-to-be-unveiled Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone, and it will be running on the Android 14 operating system. The device will also be featuring a 6.7″ pOLED 3D curved display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. A triple camera unit will be present at the rear housing a 50MP 2µm AI-powered pro-grade camera, 13MP macro + ultrawide angle camera, and a telephoto OIS camera with 30x hybrid zoom. A 4500 mAh battery is expected to be backed within, and it will support 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging features. The device will be offered in three color choices – Black, White, and Purple.
