Motorola Edge 50 Pro Appears On Geekbench With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Processor And 12GB RAM

Motorola recently confirmed that it will soon launch Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India. It will be available via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and retail stores. On one side where its dedicated page has confirmed several specs of the smartphone a major chunk is still unannounced. And now the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench with the codename eqe though earlier it was said to have the codename “Macan”. Earlier it was assumed that Motorola may launch this smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. But today’s listing has now kind of confirmed that Motorola is thinking of something else.

As per the listing the smartphone has managed to achieve 1097 in single-core test and 3114 in multi-core test. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The chipset setup comprises four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, three cores at 2.4GHz, and a primary core clocked at 2.63GHz. It will pack 12GB RAM as one option in configuration. And it will run Android 14 OS out of the box. The listing doesn’t reveal anything more than this.

The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch wide pOLED 3D curved display that offers up to 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut. It will come with SGS Eye and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection while it will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will feature the world’s 1st Pantone-validated display and validated camera.

In the camera department, you will get to see an AI-powered pro-grade camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 13MP macro camera, and ultra-wide camera. Features like Panoramic Ultrawide shots, Crystal clear macro shots, AI Dynamic fusion, adaptive stabilisation, autofocus tracking, AI Photo Enhancement engine, and Tilt mode will also be seen. Its TUV certification suggests that the smartphone can come with a 4500 mAh battery that supports up to 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
