In recent days, Motorola has been teasing the features of its next Edge series smartphone while Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion devices have also been a part of several headlines. It was said that an Edge 50 series smartphone will have its debut on 3rd April 2024 in India but the device name was not known nor did the company make any official announcement.
Today Motorola India has officially confirmed that Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be coming soon and the device will be made available to consumers via Flipkart, Motorola India’s official website, and retail stores.

As per the previous report, this device might make its debut on 3rd April but we do need to wait for the confirmation regarding the launch date. The microsite of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone has also been made live on Flipkart.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Specifications
The smartphone will feature a 6.7 inch pOLED 3D Curved Display that offers 1.5k resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut. The display will be arriving with SGS Eye and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection while it will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will feature the world’s 1st Pantone-validated display and validated camera.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro will pack up an AI-powered pro-grade camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 13MP macro camera, and ultra-wide camera. Camera features include- Panoramic Ultrawide shots, Crystal clear macro shots, AI Dynamic fusion, adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, AI Photo Enhancement engine, and Tilt mode.
The smartphone will be arriving in White, Purple, and Black color options. It may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. But, nothing can be said for sure at this point.
