MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference 2025 Officially Announced: Dimensity 9400+ Chip Expected to Launch at the Event
The Chinese semi-conductor company – MediaTek has now officially announced its next Dimensity Developer Conference 2025 (MDDC 2025). The upcoming event is said to unveil the latest and boosted Dimensity 9400+ chipset of the brand.

MDDC 2025 – To be Held on 11th April 2025
As mentioned, the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference 2025 has now been officially scheduled and it will be taking place next month on the 11th of April 2025, in Shenzhen, China. The MDDC 2025 event of this year is themed – ‘AI on the Chip, Unlimited Applications’, and the registration channel is open and will be live from 13th March 2025 to the 10th of April 2025.
As per the poster image shared, the brand is set to launch its new generation flagship 5G chip, Dimensity ecosystem new products, as well as a series of developer solutions. MediaTek also plans on working with global developers to build a mobile application ecosystem too. From what it seems, the flagship 5G chip that MediaTek has revealed to launch at the upcoming event is most likely to be the brand’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset.
The Dimensity 9400 chip was introduced last year in the month of October 2024 and we have already seen the debut of many flagship smartphone devices equipped with the flagship chip onboard. It featured all-big-cores in its CPU architecture, consisting of a Cortex X925 core (clocked 3.62 GHz), three Cortex X4 cores (clocked at 3.3 GHz), and four Cortex A720 cores (clocked at 2.4 GHz).
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip on the other hand is likely an over-clocked version of the standard Dimensity 9400 chip, with a boosted Cortex X925 core running at 3.7 GHz clock speed. According to new reports, smartphones from brands like OPPO (Find X8S, Find X8S+), Vivo (X200S), iQOO (likely Neo 10S Pro), Realme (likely Neo 7 Pro), OnePlus (Ace 5S), and Xiaomi (15T Pro; Redmi K80 Ultra) are also soon expected to arrive with the Dimensity 9400+ chip equipped within them. To add, the mentioned OPPO and Vivo devices are believed to launch next month itself, in April 2025.
