Now, it appears to be time for the flagships to get even pricier, as a new tip from tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that Samsung is planning to increase the prices of some of its flagship smartphones soon in the Indian market.
Here’s more about what has been revealed.
According to the tipster, or rather his source, Samsung is expected to soon announce a price hike for its latest Galaxy S26 Ultra, which was launched in India back in February this year.

Along with this, he also mentioned that the price hike is said to be confirmed and could happen soon.
Speaking more, the tipster further added that the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra are also in line to receive a price hike in the Indian market.
If this turns out to be true, which does seem quite possible considering that several smartphone brands have recently been increasing the prices of their devices, this would mark the first price hike for these Samsung flagship smartphones since their respective launches.
Exactly how much of a price hike Samsung is planning hasn’t been revealed by the tipster yet. However, he has mentioned that more details regarding the upcoming price revisions will be shared soon.
For now, Samsung itself hasn’t officially announced any price revision for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in India.
Stay tuned for more updates!
