Yesterday, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung finally unveiled its much-awaited Galaxy foldable and flip devices: Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
This new Galaxy Z series represents the next stage of Galaxy AI, with experiences designed for foldable devices. The AI features include Now Brief, Now Nudge, Gemini Intelligence, App automation across 49 supported apps & services, and Gemini Notebook.
The Galaxy Z series combines multi-layered security, on-device personalisation, and expanded privacy controls across Galaxy AI. Samsung Knox, Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection, Knox Vault, AI Assistant Activity Dashboard for a central view of AI Automations, and enhanced privacy alerts.
The series boasts Samsung’s new Flex Titanium technology that helps make foldables thinner while maintaining durability. Features like Vision Booster and low-reflection display finish help keep the main screen vivid and easy to see even in outdoor settings.
For those moving from iOS to Galaxy, the updated Smart Switch makes it even easier, while Quick Share’s AirDrop compatibility makes it easier to share files between iOS and Galaxy devices.
