The same tipster who had earlier revealed that Samsung may soon increase the price of its latest Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone in India along with the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, has now shared another update.
Here’s more about the update.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series and Galaxy A06 5G – Price Hike Tipped
According to the latest post shared by the tipster on X, it is not just the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra that may become more expensive in India. The standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy A06 5G are also tipped to receive a price hike soon.

While the Galaxy A06 5G had already received several price hikes, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra would be the first to get a price hike since their launch in India, if this latest tip is to be trusted. However, he didnt say anything about what will be the revised price nor did he confirm when will it happen, but he claims it may happen soon.
Speaking more, the India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA), whose members include Apple, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, Motorola, LAVA, Nothing, ASUS, Lenovo, and Google, is reportedly seeking a reduction in the GST rate from the existing 18% to 5% on all mobile phones, not just on devices priced below INR 25,000, which they asked earlier in July of this year.
Can’t say much, but if the government decides to reduce the GST rate for the smartphone industry, it could offer some relief from the rising prices of mobile devices in India.
Stay tuned for more updates!
