OnePlus 15R and Realme 16 5G Series in India Receive New Price Hike Across Multiple Memory Variants
Both Chinese smartphone makers, OnePlus and Realme, had recently hiked the pricing of some of their smartphones in the Indian market, including the OnePlus 15R and the Realme 16 Pro 5G series. Now, within a month, both brands have once again announced another price hike for these devices.

OnePlus 15R and Realme 16 5G Series Receive Another Price Hike in India
Back on the 1st of May 2026, OnePlus had announced a ₹2,000 price hike for the OnePlus 15R smartphone in India. Following the revision, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant was priced at ₹52,999 instead of ₹50,999, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant was increased to ₹57,999 from ₹55,999.
Now, once again, the company has announced another ₹2,000 price hike for the smartphone. With the latest revision, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is now priced at ₹54,999, whereas the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is now listed at ₹59,999.
On the same date mentioned above, Realme had also increased the pricing of its Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphones by ₹1,000 in India. Following the earlier hike, the Realme 16 Pro 5G smartphone in its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variants were priced at ₹36,999, ₹38,999, and ₹41,999 respectively.
Similarly, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphone in its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variants were priced at ₹44,999, ₹46,999, and ₹49,999, respectively, after the earlier revision.
However, as per the latest details shared by the brand, the revised pricing now also includes the Realme 16 5G smartphone as well.

Realme, in its latest price hike announcement, has cited the increase in “memory, chipset, and overall smartphone ecosystem cost” as the reason behind the revised pricing.
