Amazon has now announced the starting date for its upcoming Great Indian Festival 2026 sale in India. Along with this, the e-commerce platform has also revealed a few of the bank offers and other benefits that will be available during the sale.

Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026
As per the details shared on the official sale page, the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 sale will begin on 8th October 2026 in India.
During the sale, customers using eligible HDFC Bank credit cards will be able to receive a 10% instant discount. The same offer will also be available on eligible Easy EMI transactions.
Speaking more, another Amazon microsite mentions that Prime members will be able to receive an extra benefit of up to 10%. A 10% instant discount with eligible SBI debit cards, SBI credit cards and credit-card EMI transactions has also been listed on this microsite.
Exchange offers and no-cost EMI options have also been revealed among the benefits that will be available during the upcoming sale.
To note, while one Amazon sale page mentions an HDFC Bank credit-card offer, the other microsite lists an instant discount for SBI debit and credit-card users. More details about the eligibility criteria and applicable products are expected to be revealed closer to the sale.
Flipkart had earlier announced that its upcoming Big Billion Days sale would begin on 9th October 2026. This means that Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale will start a day before Flipkart’s festive sale.
Amazon has not yet revealed the product deals or category-specific discounts that will be offered during the Great Indian Festival 2026. However, with the sale date now announced, the e-commerce platform is expected to reveal more details as the sale approaches.
