The Internet should be an open and equal workspace for people but it’s about the old days. Recently more than 40 European rivals to Google’s shopping service urged EU antitrust regulators to focus on newly adopted tech rules.
These tech rules were basically drawn to promote a healthy competition on search pages. These are not mere allegations because Google has earlier been fined 2.4 billion euros ($2.33 billion) for promoting its own services.
So it would be interesting to see where this fight takes the tech giant that seems to be on the verge of creating its hegemony.
