New Message Summaries feature introduced on WhatsApp

In this daily hustle of life sometimes we get so busy that we don’t get time to check our WhatsApp messages. But what if there is a feature that lets you catch up on the messages or gives you an idea of what is being said in the unread messages?
Well, yesterday, WhatsApp introduced a new message Summary feature that uses Meta AI to privately and quickly summarize unread messages in a chat so you can get an idea of what is happening before reading the details in your unread messages.
This feature uses Private Processing technology that allows Meta AI to generate a response without Meta or WhatsApp ever seeing your messages or the private summaries. Also, no one else in the chat will be able to see that you have summarized unread messages. This all-new Message Summaries feature is optional and is also off by default.
Users can choose whether or not to use Private Processing features like Message Summaries and can use Advanced Chat Privacy to select which chats can be shared for AI features.
Message Summary feature is currently rolling out in the English language to people in the US while the feature is expected to be rolled out in other languages and countries later this year. You can access the feature via Settings> Chats> Private Processing, which lets you turn it on or off.
