Microsoft introduces new wallpapers in light/dark mode celebrating 11 years of the Windows Insider Program

In October 2014, Microsoft announced the Windows Insider Program in which millions of insiders previewed pre-release Windows builds, and shared their feedback to help the company provide what the customers need.

Microsoft is now celebrating 11 years of the Windows Insider Program. The company has been creating unique wallpapers for Insider anniversaries, and this year it has also done the same.

Two new wallpapers are released in Light mode and Dark mode for desktop and phone, crafted with the Windows Design team as a heartfelt thank-you for the role Insiders play in moving Windows forward. The wallpaper is inspired by the Windows 11 Bloom wallpaper. The Bloom design from Windows is quite popular and has inspired many wallpapers before.

The wallpaper shows a wave pattern across multiple layers. You can download the wallpaper from this link. The company stated in the blog post, “Over the past 11 years, millions of Windows Insiders have previewed our developing experiences, shared invaluable feedback, and inspired us to meet what customers need today- and to keep evolving for what’s next. Looking ahead, we’re committed to driving innovation and growth that empowers people and organizations everywhere.”
