For a lot of us, it is amazing that Facebook and its sister concerns are down for about an hour. People from the tech community think it might be because Facebook is trying to protect its user data from the hack.
Some news agencies have been claiming it might be due to a cyberattack, however, it might be too early to come to this conclusion. Facebook has officially spoken that they are working towards resolving the issue.
This issue also happens if we are migrating or switching from one server to another. Usually, it takes 24 to 48 hours depending upon server. So for now we just have to wait for the information to come in after it is back online again.
