Last year, Meta launched the Instagram TV app for Amazon Fire TV devices in the US, and this year the Instagram TV app was expanded to Google TV and Samsung smart TVs.
Now, the Instagram app is available on Apple TV, allowing users to watch Reels, longer videos, and live shows on their TV screens.

The app is listed on the Apple TV App Store, and the dedicated app is available for Apple TVs running tvOS 26.0 or later.
With this app, users can watch Instagram’s content from their favourite creators, discover videos and live shows directly on their televisions. Users can also pick up where they left off across different screens. You can discover bite-sized Reels or immerse yourself in longer videos and shows.
The App Store listing describes the app as a way to enjoy Instagram with friends and family, extending its video experience to the television.
This release follows Instagram’s dedicated iPad app, which arrived in September 2025, addressing the demand for an interface designed specifically for larger screens.
By expanding across televisions and tablets, Instagram is making its video content accessible across more devices.
