With this latest addition, Honor’s smart assistant YOYO is now capable of handling more complex queries, such as calculating historical currency values and offering health-related advice. Also to add, the update brings improved photo editing features, including background blur adjustment to modify depth-of-field even after capturing an image.

Additionally, users will be able to restore old photos and enhance grainy or damaged images using AI tools. The AI Style Transfer feature also allows users to change the overall look and feel of their photos, while smart cropping and reframing options help in achieving a better composition.

In order to access these new features, users will have to update the YoYo app to version 90.10.28.041 or above. Additionally, the device should be running on Honor MagicOS 8 (based on Android 14) or higher, and it is currently available only for users in the China region.

Once updated, users can access the YoYo assistant by long pressing the power button, then swiping up and tapping on the “Explore” (four-square icon) section. From there, the DeepSeek V4 banner can be selected to start using the feature.
