Yesterday, Swiggy announced the rollout of its 24×7 AI Business Partner called Guru, a platform innovation specifically for its restaurant partners.
Swiggy launches Guru AI assistant
This AI Assistant is available on Swiggy’s restaurant partner app, empowering restaurant owners to deep-dive into their payouts and track the performance of their campaigns, instantly launch and modify ad campaigns and discounts. Additionally, they can also view their payout annexures in detail, including tax reports and payout summaries.
It will enable them to take data-driven decisions, optimise sales funnels, and resolve operational queries in seconds, all through an easy-to-use, single conversational chat.
With Guru, restaurant owners can get a full funnel analysis of their GMV and orders, along with a detailed report on what is not working well and recommendations to fix it. The AI Assistant has been designed to evaluate key metrics, including sales, orders, AOV, and 30+ other metrics, tracked consistently over time.
Menu insights on Guru allow partners to add items, generate descriptions, and highlight top-selling items to deliver personalised insights by analysing category performance and what is working for them.
Commenting on the launch, Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said, “Today, AI has redefined how businesses operate and is driving higher efficiency across industries. Having partnered with restaurants for over 12 years, we understand the operational demands and constant multi-tasking that our partners navigate every single day. Integrating AI into their everyday workflows is a natural next step in our journey together. With Guru, we are introducing an intuitive, AI-first assistant that redefines daily restaurant management, providing 24×7 support, faster query resolution, and actionable performance insights that help grow their business.”
Availability
Launching across 720+ cities, Guru is said to benefit over 2.7 lakh restaurants, ranging from neighbourhood to multi-outlet restaurants. The interface is available in over 20 vernacular languages, including Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.
