OpenAI Releases Several New Improvements for ChatGPT Search, Including a Better Shopping Experience
The American AI tech company – OpenAI has now announced the release of several new improvements for ChatGPT Search. A better shopping experience is also being rolled out as part of these new improvements.

New Improvements for ChatGPT Announced
As per what has been shared, OpenAI’s ChatGPT Search has now become one of the brand’s most popular and fastest growing features and more than a billion searches were hit last week alone. Among the new improvements that have been announced, notably the shopping experience has received major updates and this was hinted at before.
OpenAI is experimenting on making the shopping experience simpler and faster – to find, compare, and shop products directly within ChatGPT. Improved product results; visualized product details, pricing, and reviews; and direct links are included for the purpose. It should also be noted that the listed products are not advertisements, but are chosen independently according to the users’ needs. The shopping-related improvements are already rolling out to Plus, Pro, Free, and logged-out users, and the complete roll-out will take place in a few days.
‘Search in WhatsApp’ is another improvement. WhatsApp users can now send a WhatsApp message to 1-800-ChatGPT (+1-800-242-8478) and get up-to-date answers as well as live sports scores. With improved citations, ChatGPT will be adding multiple citations in a given response, letting users learn and verify with the help of more sources. Also to add, a new ‘highlight’ UI has also been introduced as part of the improvements. Speaking more, the new Trending and Autocomplete suggestions will also let users search faster in ChatGPT too.
