The American tech company – Microsoft has introduced its new Bing Video Creator tool and it has now been made available to everyone absolutely free of cost. Similar to how its Bing Image Creator tool works, with text prompts, users will be able to create AI-generated videos with the help of the new Bing Video Creator tool.

Microsoft’s New Bing Video Creator Tool Introduced
This new Bing Video Creator tool that has now been introduced is powered by OpenAI’s Sora AI model, and it is the first time this model is being made available freely to users. The feature as of now is only available on the Bing app (for iOS and Android), and the desktop access could be rolled out soon. Each user will be getting the option to create 10 video clips of 5 seconds long at fast speed, after which the video creation will be shifted to standard speed. To access fast speed creation again, 100 Microsoft Reward points will have to be redeemed for each additional video. Speaking more, only 9:16 aspect ratio videos (vertical) can be generated now, but the 16:9 aspect ratio support for videos (horizontal) will be coming out soon. Also, up to three 5-second videos can be kept in queue too, however the time duration cannot be increased. Also to note, for better video output, prompts must be better elaborated and it should not be given in a vague manner. An easy sharing option is also a key aspect of the Bing Video Creator tool. On the security side, Microsoft has ensured that prompts flagged as risky will be blocked and all the created videos will be having digital credentials that will identify them as AI-generated (as per C2PA standard).
