Google’s Virtual Try-On feature now available in Latin America

Last year, Google introduced its virtual try-on shopping tool, which allowed users to virtually try on clothes using AI on their own photos. This tool helped in imagining how clothes look on different body types.
The company has announced that the Virtual Try-on tool is now available in Latin America.

All you need to do is upload your photo and choose your style. With this tool, users can navigate the world of online clothing, especially when it comes to picturing how something will actually look on you.
Google’s AI models will generate the visualisation on your body before you buy. The tool works with blouses, pants and dresses, and helps in exploring styles from thousands of brands in one place.
According to the Google support page, the feature is available for logged-in users on both mobile and desktop versions of Google Search, Google Shopping and Google Images. Users must be 18 years or older to use this feature, and accounts must have Web & App Activity and Search Personalisation turned on.
How to get started?
- Search for any top, bottom, or dress on Google.
- Click the product or image you want to try on.
- Upload an image of yourself or a photo you have permission to use.
- After the image is generated, you can save or share the look.
This virtual try-on tool gives you a general sense of how the item might complement your personal style as you explore different looks and discover new styles from countless retailers.
