Google Photos in it’s the latest update is now letting users pinch to zoom in on videos or double-tap to zoom in or out.
The latest version of Google Photos is now available on Android, version 5.28.0. With the help of this feature, On double-tapping, the video fills the screen in all edges. The pinch to zoom in and double-tap to zoom in or out makes it easier for users to have closer look on details in a video.
As of yet, it’s not available on iOS.
Since the feature seems to be a server-side update; Google is probably rolling it out in batches.
Google in recent days has introduced several new features in various of its platforms such as maps, A new Maps timeline feature on Google Photos, Cinematic photos, update on Gmail’s desktop icon.
