Rockstar Games officially confirms that GTA VI second trailer was captured entirely in-game from PS5

Recently, Rockstar Games officially released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, revealing some major details about this much-awaited game. Many GTA fans were impressed with how good-looking the trailer was, while some questioned what this game would look like outside of a trailer, as it looked too good to be a console game.
Well, Rockstar Games has officially cleared all the confusion by confirming that GTA VI Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes.

At the end of the trailer, it was mentioned that the trailer was captured on PS5, but viewers found it hard to believe, which led the company to clarify again. This confirmation gives a chance for PS5 users to rejoice about how good the game will look on their console once it releases, while PS5 Pro users will get to enjoy the game in a more enhanced manner with smoother and higher framerates than what’s possible on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Back in December 2024, Rockstar Games released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI), and the trailer got 90.6 million views in just 24 hours. The fans were excited for the release of this much-awaited game, which was expected to happen this year only, but recently the company has announced that GTA VI will be released on 26th May, 2026.
