PlayStation Plus Subscription Prices Officially Increased in India Across All Tiers; Existing Users Also Affected by the Revised Pricing

Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced a price hike for the PlayStation Plus subscription across all of its tiers in different parts of the world. During the announcement itself, the company had also mentioned that the revised pricing would be implemented in India starting from the 20th of May, and the same has now been updated on the Indian PlayStation Plus subscription page as well.

PlayStation Plus India Price Hike
For those unaware, the PlayStation Plus subscription currently comes in three different tiers, including Essential, Extra, and Deluxe, with all three offering 1-month, 3-month, and 12-month subscription plans.
Below are the revised prices for all the tiers in India.

As seen above, all three subscription tiers have now received a notable price increase across monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans in India. Also, in the previous announcement itself, the company had added that “This price change does not apply to current subscribers (except in Turkey and India) unless the existing subscription changes or lapses.” This means users in India and Turkey will still be affected by the revised pricing, even if they currently have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
