Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV have been postponed.
Both communities are disappointed by the news. Since the announcement of the sequel, most new content for the original game has been halted. Diablo fans have been waiting for a new installment since 2012’s Diablo III, and Overwatch fans have been waiting for a new experience since the announcement of the sequel halted the newest content for the original game.
At the very least, Diablo aficionados have been on this rollercoaster before. Despite the fact that Diablo III was announced in 2008, it was not released until the middle of 2012. Prior to this, the most recent iteration of the game was Diablo II, which was released in 2000. Despite production delays, players will have a significantly shorter wait this time.
There is currently no information on how the Overwatch League will be affected by the Overwatch 2 delays. Depending on when the game is released, we could witness up to two more seasons of Overwatch with the original heroes, with no new characters’ insight.
Users were expecting the game to be launched by the end of this year. However, Stephen Totilo who is a CO Author of Axios Gaming newsletter shared on his Twitter wall that both the games are delayed.
