Battlegrounds Season 2 to launch soon, new upgrades going to make it more exciting than before

The new season will introduce a battleground-based season pass and rewards track, legendary cosmetics, XP, and missions. Besides tis, there is a new theme also launching in the new season.

Recent updates are to be seen in Hearthstone’s upcoming patch 24.2. Recently, news broke that certain changes in the form of new updates will take place in Hearthstone. In the list of the changes, there will soon be a Season 2 for Battlegrounds introduced under it. This is one of the major updates that have broken the internet. Users are sharing the news on social media and are feeling immensely happy right now.

The new season will introduce a battleground-based season pass and rewards track, legendary cosmetics, XP, and missions. The passes in this new season will be purchasable only with Runestones, which is another update of Hearthstone, upgraded currencies acting as real-time currencies. This will be the new norm to purchase the passes and other real-money cosmetics via Runestones only.

Speaking of the new update, Battlegrounds will now offer three Battlegrounds missions every week. Now there are no regular mission queues. It is also providing a free track that lends some items alongside the paid track carrying more cosmetics. In addition, Season Pass holders will be given the opportunity to choose two additional heroes during the Selection Phase. Furthermore, the new season will include Quest, a time-restricted mechanic; 11 new minions; and two new heroes: Murloc Holmes and Sire Denathrius.

Along with the traditional competitive ranked CCG, Battlegrounds is one of Hearthstone’s most popular modes, obtaining a special space in the top menu. This time, there is also the inclusion of a new Magic of Azeroth theme, brought up in this season. The theme will include the new legendary hero skins and boards in it, which will be a thrill to watch and experience.
