It was recently confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 tablet was soon going to have its launch in the Indian market and now, its exact launch date has been announced. Along with this, more details concerning the upcoming device have been revealed too.

Redmi Pad 2 – Launching on 18th June 2025
The Redmi Pad 2 tablet as per what has been officially shared by Redmi India on X, will be launched in the Indian market on the 18th of June 2025 (not today – 5th June 2025 as revealed earlier), and it will be introduced in two different colors – Blue and Black.
Speaking more, the product design has also been revealed in the new update and design aspects such as the flat display screen, centrally-placed front camera (in landscape position), dual-tone design, and pill-shaped rear camera module housing a single camera sensor can be spotted. The stylus support has again been pointed out as one of its key specs, and it will also be supporting WiFi and cellular connectivity. Multi-tasking, next-level creativity, and AI capabilities (Circle to Search) have also been teased. The other previously teased specs include the bigger and richer display screen, longer battery life, and the lighter and compact form factor.
Also to add, apart from the device’s BIS listing in India, it had made its appearance on the European EEC, UAE’s TDRA, Singapore’s IMDA, and USA’s FCC certification databases as well, and specs like Dolby Atmos-enhanced quad-speaker system, 3.5 mm audio-jack, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2.1 custom skin were revealed along with its launch confirmation in the respective global markets.
