Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Pad 2 tablet has been making its appearance on different global certification platforms and now, the 4G variant of this tablet has been spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification database. Via this new certification listing, the variant’s launch in the UAE market has also been confirmed.

Redmi Pad 2 4G – TDRA Certification
The Redmi Pad 2 4G tablet (global model – ‘G’) which carries the model number of ‘2505DRP06G’ has received the TDRA certification from UAE with the equipment registration number of ‘ER45084/25’, and this upcoming tablet device has been categorized under the ‘Tablet/PC’ section. To note, its TDRA certification will only be valid till the 13th of May 2028.
Speaking more about its previous certification listings, the WiFi-only variant (25040RP0AG) of Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad 2 tablet has already been certified by the TDRA authority of UAE as well as by Singapore’s IMDA authority. Both the 4G (‘2505DRP06G’) and Wi-Fi only (‘25040RP0AG’) variants had also appeared on the European EEC certification database too. Moreover, the Indian models of the Redmi Pad 2 4G (‘2505DRP06I’) and WiFi-only (‘25040RP0AI’) variants have received the BIS certification as well.
Based on the model number (2505…/2504…), Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad 2 tablet was deduced to have its possible launch in May/April 2025. As we have already entered its expected launch time frame, we may get to hear more about this upcoming tablet in the coming days itself.
