Redmi Pad 2 Tablet Officially Launching This Week in India; Amazon Landing Page Also Now Live

Following all the previous updates, the latest Redmi Pad 2 tablet launch in the Indian market has now been scheduled and it will be taking place this week in the country. The Amazon landing page for the upcoming tablet is also now live, and a few of its key specs have been suggested.

Redmi Pad 2 – Launching on 5th June 2025

The Redmi Pad 2 tablet has been teased with the tagline – ‘Built For More’, and it will be officially unveiled for Indian consumers this week on the 5th of June 2025. The landing page of the upcoming device on Amazon suggests a few of its key specs, revealing that it will be offering a longer battery life, visually richer and bigger display with endless capability, and a lighter and more compact form factor design (in comparison to phone and laptop). Stylus support could also be offered this time as per the teasers.

Looking at previous updates, Indian customers can expect 4G+WiFi and WiFi-only variants for the Redmi Pad 2 tablet as both these have received the BIS certification in India. Additionally the two have also been certified by the European EEC and UAE’s TDRA certification authorities as well. The WiFi-only variant was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA and USA’s FCC certification platforms too. Moreover, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, pill-shaped camera module housing a single camera, centrally-placed (when held in landscape) selfie camera, Dolby Atmos-enhanced quad-speaker system, 3.5 mm audio-jack, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2.1 are its revealed/expected specs.
