RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 PRO Debuts in China; To Hit Global Market as the ‘RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet’

Nubia’s gaming subsidiary – RedMagic has officially debuted its latest gaming tablet device – the ‘RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 PRO’ in the Chinese market. This device will also be hitting the global market soon as the ‘RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet’.

RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 PRO – Debuted in China

RedMagic’s Gaming Tablet 3 PRO is powered by the Leading Version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and it is equipped with the brand’s own Red Core R3 Pro gaming chip too. The device is also coupled with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, and three storage options are introduced – 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 24GB/1TB.

Additionally, Pad Magic Cooling System 3.0, Sandwich VC Architecture, and Liquid Metal 2.0 heating solutions are offered to ensure stable performance. Furthermore, for a better gaming performance, the CUBE Game Engine is also given on the device, providing stable frame rate, lower power consumption, and a longer battery life.  

About its display specs, an OLED gaming display is featured with a screen size of 9.06″. Other display related specs are the 4.9 mm symmetrical bezels, 90.1% screen-to-body ratio, and 165Hz high refresh rate. A Synaptics S3930 touch chip is also a part of the device, supporting Wet Hand Touch and Game Hot Spots Special Adjustment technologies.

Regarding the battery and charging features, a decent 8200 mAh battery is packed within the device and an 80W wired fast charging feature is offered. Moreover, a bypass charging feature is also given, enabling users to deliver power directly to enhance the performance of the device.

Other notable specs include the RedMagic OS 10.5 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system and the built-in PC emulator. The transparent aesthetics with a flat form factor design, one-piece metal body, and custom RGB lighting are also among its notable key specs.

Pricing and Availability Details

About its price points, the 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 24GB/1TB storage variants are respectively priced at CNY 4199, CNY 4699, CNY 5999. During the official first sale, the 12GB/256GB stoarge variant will be available for CNY 3999, and with the national subsidy, all the storage variants will be offered at even reduced pricing of CNY 3499, CNY 4199, and CNY 5499. The device will be offered with two color choices, and Chinese customers will be able to get it in Eclipse Black (Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night) and Starfrost Silver (Deuterium Front Transparent  Silver Wing) colors.

As mentioned above, this tablet device will also be launched for global consumers next month on the 1st of July 2025, but will be re-branded as the ‘RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet’. Its landing page with key specs is also now live.
