Just a few hours ago, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi confirmed that its Autumn Flagship Product Launch will be held on 7th September in China. At this launch event, the company will be unveiling its flagship Xiaomi 18 Fold smartphone.
After announcing the launch date, the company has now officially started teasing the details of the upcoming foldable device.
Xiaomi 18 Fold: Teased in China
The Xiaomi 18 Fold comes in a new form factor, “mid-fold”. It features ultra-narrow, equal-sided sides, ultra-elliptical rounded corners, elegant racetrack-shaped Deco design, and a flat, wraparound frame. It is revealed to arrive in a “Westfield Red” colour.
The foldable device sports a 5.38-inch external screen and a 7.58-inch internal screen that offers a wide and open view. The rear panel features a pill-shaped camera module that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash.
The smartphone is already confirmed to arrive with Xiaomi’s latest Xring O3 chipset, while this will be the world’s first device to feature CXMT’s LPDDR6 RAM. Recently, an alleged Xiaomi 18 Fold listing was also spotted on the Geekbench database.
