Vivo X200 FE and X Fold 5 both launching in India on 14th July 2025, officially confirmed and specs revealed

Earlier, it was reported—based on a leak—that the Vivo X200 FE would launch on 14th July 2025. However, the leak did not clarify whether the X Fold 5 would also debut on the same date, even though its teaser had recently been released. Now, it’s official: both the Vivo X200 FE and X Fold 5 will be launching in the Indian market on 14th July 2025. The microsite for both devices is now live on the official Vivo India website as well as Flipkart.

And yes, specs have been revealed via the microsite also. Starting with the Vivo X200 FE features a 6.31-inch (16.02 cm) compact display, offering a comfortable in-hand feel with its ultra-slim 0.799 cm profile and lightweight build of just 186g. It is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which boasts a 3.4GHz peak clock speed and an all-big-core 4+4 CPU architecture, ensuring top-tier performance and seamless multitasking. Available in Amber Yellow, Frost Blue, and Luxe Grey colour options, the phone combines style with durability, thanks to its IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the imaging front, the device houses a ZEISS-backed triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX921, OIS, f/1.88), a 50MP telephoto lens (Sony IMX882 Ultra-Sensitive Sensor), and an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view. It also supports ZEISS Multifocal Portrait modes with varied focal lengths—23mm for landscape, 35mm for street, 50mm for classic, and 85mm for figure portraits—powered by ZEISS Bokeh styles.

Vivo X Fold 5 Specs Revealed
Vivo X Fold 5 blends an ultra-lightweight and ultra-slim design, weighing 217g and measuring just 0.92 cm when folded and 0.43 cm when unfolded. Built for power users and professionals, this premium foldable is equipped with a 6000mAh dual-cell battery supported by 80W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. Vivo has also introduced 2nd-gen semi-solid electrolyte technology and 4th-gen silicon anodes, boosting energy density to 866Wh/L—delivering up to 80.6 hours of music playback, 13.2 hours of online meetings, and 8.8 days of standby.
Photography is handled by a triple ZEISS-backed camera system: a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera (Sony IMX882, f/2.5, 70mm equivalent with OIS), a 50MP Ultra-Sensing VCS Bionic main camera (Sony IMX921, f/1.57, 23mm equivalent, OIS), and a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera (JN1 sensor, f/2.05, 120° FOV with autofocus).

As per an earlier tip from tipster Sanjuu, the Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to be priced at ₹1,39,999, while the Vivo X200 FE is likely to carry a price tag of ₹54,999. However, with launch offers applied, the X200 FE could be available for under ₹49,999. Although not officially confirmed, the open sale is expected to begin from 17th July 2025.
