A few days after debuting its latest generation flagship big foldable device in China, Vivo has now officially teased its X Fold 5 smartphone launch in India. In related news, this device has also made its appearance on the NBTC certification platform of Thailand as well.

Vivo X Fold 5 – Coming Soon to India
Vivo India via its official X handle has confirmed the launch of the X Fold 5 smartphone for Indian customers and in the teaser video shared, the brand reveals that this device is ‘everything re-imagined’. Notably, it is teased to be light in weight and slim in form factor design, and it will be featuring a big and bright folding inner main display too. Moreover, the tagline – ‘Coming Soon’ suggests that the launch is around the corner. [An earlier update also tipped that the launch in India could be taking place in Q3 2025.]
About its NBTC listing, Vivo’s X Fold 5 smartphone carrying the model number of ‘V2429’ has been certified by the NBTC authority with the certificate number of ‘B38434-25’. The listing points out that it will be supporting 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity, and will be hitting the Thailand market as well. With its previous SIRIM and IMDA certifications, the launch in Malaysia and Singapore are also confirmed.
