Following its previous teaser confirming the return of the Vivo S series to India with the upcoming Vivo S2 smartphone, the brand has now officially revealed its launch date as well.

Vivo S2 – India Launch Date Confirmed
According to the latest details shared by the brand, the Vivo S2 smartphone will be launched in India on the 6th of August 2026 at 12 PM IST and will be available through both Amazon India and Flipkart.
The updated microsites also offer a clearer look at the design of the upcoming smartphone, revealing a horizontally placed pill-shaped camera module housing two large circular camera cutouts, along with a smaller third cutout for the LED flashlight.
While the microsites have not yet revealed its specifications, tipster Sanju Choudhary recently claimed that the Vivo S2 will feature a 6.83″ curved pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 chipset.
Coming to its battery, the Vivo S2 is said to pack a 7,050mAh battery and support up to 44W wired fast charging. Speaking about its cameras, the smartphone could sport a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP secondary camera at the rear, whereas a 32MP front-facing camera could be offered for selfies and video calls.
The tipster further points out that the device will arrive with IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistance ratings.
Regarding its pricing, the 8GB/128GB variant is tipped to carry a box MRP of INR 66,999, but since MRPs are always higher than the actual selling price, it is expected that the Vivo S2 may launch in the country at around INR 40,000 to INR 45,000.
Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and Silk White colour choices, which have been tipped for this upcoming smartphone. Notably, the Silk White colour variant has already made its appearance in the official teasers.
