Vivo recently teased the launch of its upcoming Vivo S2 smartphone in India by making its dedicated microsites live on both Flipkart and Amazon India. While the brand only revealed a glimpse of the device’s design through the microsites, a tipster has now shared its alleged specifications and pricing details.

Vivo S2 – Specifications and Pricing Tipped
As per the details shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary, the upcoming Vivo S2 smartphone will feature a 6.83″ curved pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is tipped to use a MediaTek 7360 chipset.
Coming to its battery, the Vivo S2 is said to pack a 7,050mAh battery and support up to 44W wired charging. Speaking about its cameras, the smartphone could sport a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera along with a 2MP secondary camera at the rear, whereas a 32MP front-facing camera could be equipped for selfies and video calls.
The tipster further points out that the device will arrive with IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistance ratings. It is also revealed to be an offline-centric smartphone, with its design likely being one of its major highlights.
Regarding its pricing, the 8GB/128GB variant is tipped to carry a box MRP of INR 66,999. However, the tipster notes that the box MRP is generally higher than the actual selling price and expects the Vivo S2 to launch in the country at around INR 40,000 to INR 45,000.
New Vivo Earbuds Also Tipped
Along with the Vivo S2 smartphone, Vivo is also tipped to launch a new pair of wireless earbuds in India, which, according to him, is going to feature 10mm audio drivers, offer up to 50 hours of total battery backup with the charging case, and support Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity.
Two colour choices of Basalt Black and Nilgiri Green are also tipped for the earbuds. However, their official moniker, pricing, and other specifications have not yet been revealed.
The same tipster had also pointed out that the smartphone will be offered in Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and Silk White colour choices.
