Realme GT 8 Pro teased for India as microsite goes live, Flipkart availability confirmed
Yet another smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC is coming to the Indian market, the Realme GT 8 Pro. Realme has just dropped its first teaser on X, confirming that the phone is co-engineered with RICOH GR and is “coming soon” to India. While the exact launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, the teaser does mention that the launch will take place sometime in November. For now, it looks like OnePlus might still be the first to launch a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphone (OnePlus 15) in India.
Both Flipkart and Realme India’s microsites have already gone live, calling it “The Most Powerful GT Yet.” The Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and has achieved an impressive AnTuTu score of over 4,000,000 points. It also includes a dedicated HyperVision AI Chip, designed to enhance visual performance and deliver smarter AI-based optimisation.

In the camera department, Realme has partnered with RICOH GR to bring professional-grade imaging, highlighted by the tagline “4 Years of Passion. Precision. Perfection.” The microsite also features the taglines “Capture Beyond Definition” and “Design Beyond Definition,” focusing on advanced zoom capabilities and a premium design.
The Realme GT 8 Pro has already been launched in China, and the Indian variant is expected to bring similar specifications. Now that the first teaser is out, more details are likely to follow soon.
