OnePlus 15 to launch in India on November 13 as the country’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone

Looks like OnePlus is going to win the race to launch the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset in the Indian market. The company has officially confirmed the launch date as November 13th, 2025, at 7 PM, with open sales starting from 8 PM onwards on the same day.

Meanwhile, iQOO is also set to launch the iQOO 15 in the Indian market with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC on November 26th, making it the second smartphone to debut in India with the same chipset.

So far, the microsite is already live on the OnePlus India website and Amazon India, revealing some key specifications — including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, OxygenOS 16, and a triple rear 50MP camera setup powered by the DetailMax engine. The microsite also confirms that it will be available in three colour options — purple, gold, and black. It is most likely to launch with similar specifications to the variant already released in China.

In addition, the European variant will come with a Bonus Drop Bundle, which includes the OnePlus Everyday Sling Bag and the OnePlus SUPERVOOC 120W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter Kit. However, the OnePlus India microsite mentions that the Bonus Drop Bundle for India will be revealed on October 30th, i.e. tomorrow. Let’s see if it includes the same items as the European version.
