OPPO Pad Air 5 Starry White Edition Launched in China With Same Specs, Open Sale Starts From May 29th

The OPPO Pad Air 5 tablet, which was released back in December in China, has now received a new Starry White edition. This is basically a new colour variant of the tablet, while the rest of its specifications remain the same.

As mentioned, this new Starry White colour variant carries the same specifications as the global OPPO Pad 5, which is available as the OPPO Pad Air 5 in China, instead of the earlier model that was launched before the global version.

The tablet comes with the model number OPD2501 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset. It is coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and the device runs on the ColorOS 16 custom skin.

For its display, the OPPO Pad Air 5 features a 12.1-inch LCD display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2800 × 1980 pixels screen resolution, 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 100% sRGB coverage. It also supports up to 540Hz maximum touch sampling rate and offers a peak global brightness of up to 900 nits. The Soft Light version further brings a new generation high-precision nano-etching technology, which is said to improve clarity by 22% and eliminate 97% of ambient light interference.

On the camera side, the tablet has been given an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Regarding the battery specs, it is backed by a 10,050 mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device measures 266.01 × 192.77 × 6.83mm, and weighs 597 grams for the WiFi version and 599 grams for the SIM card version.

Other key specs include USB Type-C, WiFi 6, TÜV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection certification, super linear quad speakers, single SIM support, exclusive learning spaces, 5G network sharing, Application Relay, notes material flow in one shot, lightning-fast file transfer with iPhone, data transfer support with Insta360 GO Ultra, and file transfer support with other Android brands.
