OPPO has now launched its latest A7 Pro series in Malaysia, consisting of the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G smartphones. The two devices arrive with the same set of specifications as their respective Chinese counterparts- the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G.

OPPO A7 Pro 5G – Specifications
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G features a 6.57″ flexible AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to a 240Hz touch-sampling rate and 1,400 nits of HBM brightness. The 10-bit display also supports a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and is protected using Crystal Guard glass.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max processor, paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, along with expandable storage support.
On the camera side, the device sports a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor at the rear. For selfies, it is equipped with a 50MP autofocus camera.
The smartphone packs an 8000mAh battery and supports 45W SUPERVOOC and 45W UFCS charging. It runs on ColorOS 16 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, OTG, NFC (region-dependent) and dual Nano-SIM support are also offered.
Speaking of its design, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G measures approximately 8.80mm in thickness and weighs around 205g. It has been introduced in Bloom Pink, Shine Titanium and Surfing Blue colour options.
OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G – Specifications
The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G is equipped with a larger 6.78″ flexible AMOLED display offering a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 1,800 nits of HBM brightness, a 10-bit colour depth and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Crystal Guard glass is also offered for display protection.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, coupled with the Adreno 629 GPU. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage with no expandable storage support.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP primary camera with two-axis OIS, accompanied by a 2MP monochrome camera. A 50MP front-facing camera with a 100° field of view is also present for selfies and video calls.
On the battery side, the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G packs a massive 10000mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC and 80W UFCS charging. It also supports up to 55W PPS, 44W third-party UFCS, 13.5W PD and 13.5W QC charging.
The smartphone runs on ColorOS 16 and features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Its connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG and an infrared remote control. Select carriers will also offer eSIM support.
Speaking of its design, the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G measures approximately 8.57mm in thickness and weighs up to 226g. It is available in Lunar Black and Surfing Blue colour options.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G has been priced at RM1,699 for its 6GB/256GB variant, while its 8GB/256GB memory option carries a price tag of RM1,899.
The OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G, on the other hand, has been introduced in a single 8GB/256GB configuration, priced at RM2,499 in Malaysia.
Speaking more, as per previous leaks and rumours, the same smartphones are expected to be introduced in the Indian market under the OPPO F35 series with a starting price tag of INR 40,000 and INR 45,000. However, OPPO is yet to share any details regarding the India launch.
