OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition More Teasers Shared, Revealing Performance, Display, and Battery Features

The Chinese smartphone maker – OnePlus will officially be debuting its Ace 5 Extreme series next week in its home market and this series will be bringing out the Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphone models. Following the recently-shared teasers, more new teaser updates pertaining to the performance, display, and battery features of the Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition device have been shared.

It has already been revealed that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition smartphone will be equipped with an e-sports triple core system and the earlier teaser updates shared details concerning the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip and Lingxi Touch chip. In addition to these two, a WiFi Chip G1 will also be part of the device. Esports-grade gaming network experience can thus be experienced on it, with 32% improved RF capabilities, 11.2% improved communication distance, and 22% improved network stability. A 33% improved wall-penetration capability is also a notable spec.

Also to add, a mysterious guest (could be an AI assistant) will also be introduced to OnePlus with the Ace 5 Extreme series as per what has been shared.

Speaking more about its connectivity aspect, OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition has received the industry’s very first TeleSports Game Fluency Certification. Thus, a smooth and lag-free gaming experience is guaranteed.

About its teased display specs, a 144Hz gaming high refresh rate eye protection straight display screen has been teased for the upcoming device. It measures 6.83″ in size and has a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1272 pixels). Up to 144Hz refresh rate is also supported (up to 24 frames per second, 0.007 second ultra-fast response), along with 450 ppi screen density, 1.07 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and ZREAL HD certification.

Furthermore, Bright Eye Protection 2.0 is also featured, with DC-like dimming + 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, low flicker, hardware-level low blue light, comfortable color temperature 2.0, Sleep Mode 2.0, and TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certification.

In the test between the fastest hand speed robot and the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition – which is claimed to be the most powerful touch response mobile phone (with 300Hz five-finger sampling rate, 290Hz+ 10-finger sampling rate, and 3000Hz transient response sampling rate), the device only had an average touch delay of 0.041 seconds and the minimum touch delay is recorded to be 0.033 seconds.

Finally about the battery specs teased, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition is revealed to offer a golden battery life combination with a 6700 mAh glacier battery and a 100W wired fast charge feature. A 7.9 hours battery life is assured on a large-scale MOBA mobile game with 120 frames + extreme image quality, and 7.5 hours of battery life is claimed on a large FPS mobile game with 120 frames + highest quality. Speaking of the charging speed, it only takes 39 minutes to fully charge the device to 100%, whereas 10 minutes of charging is equal to 3 hours of gaming time.
