The design of the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) was officially revealed by the brand recently, along with its India launch date, which is set to make its debut in the country on the 7th of July and will be made available via Flipkart’s e-commerce platform.
Now, ahead of its official launch, Nothing has also confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. However, the brand has not yet mentioned which chipset will be used on the smartphone. To note, its earlier Geekbench listing had already hinted the same.
Nothing Phone (4b) – Snapdragon Chipset Confirmed
As per the Geekbench database, the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) is expected to come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC. The listing had also revealed that the device will be running on the Android 16 operating system, and an 8GB RAM variant was also confirmed.
Additionally, its alleged model number “A009P” was also spotted on the Indian BIS certification database earlier, which had already confirmed its India launch as well.
Speaking more about the device, a similar Glyph Bar notification system, which was first introduced with the Phone (4a), is also going to be featured on this upcoming smartphone. However, unlike the 9 independent LED lights that were offered on the previous model, the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) will feature 5 independent LED lights.
Notably, this system is said to be “Patented tech for a more natural, neutral, bleed-free glow” and is claimed to offer a 40% brighter glow than the previous Phone (a) series smartphone.
