Motorola Edge 70 Pro Microsite Updated on Flipkart; Launch Date, Key Specs Revealed
Motorola had recently teased the arrival of a new smartphone via Flipkart for the Indian market without revealing its moniker, and earlier rumours pointed it to be the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. Now, confirming this, the brand has updated the microsite, revealing its launch date as well as a few of its key specifications.

As per the details revealed via the official microsite, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro smartphone will be offered in three Pantone colour options of Pantone Lilly White (Marble Finish), Pantone Tea (Satin Luxe Finish), and Pantone Titan (Tailored Fabric Finish).
Coming to its camera specs, the device will feature a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 primary sensor at the rear, coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and it is also Pantone as well as Pantone SkinTone validated. A multispectral 3-in-1 sensor is also part of the camera setup. Additionally, AI-backed features such as AI Photo Enhancement Engine, Turbo Fusion Night Vision, Dynamic Noise Reduction, and Pro-Level Bokeh will be supported. Other AI capabilities like AI Clarity (RAW super-resolution), AI-powered portrait and group shots, and AI colour and scene detection are also said to be available, along with reduced shutter lag. For selfies, a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus support has been confirmed, and 4K 60FPS video recording will be supported across all lenses.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, and it is said to have achieved a 2.4M+ score on the AnTuTu benchmark platform. It will be paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a vapour cooling chamber with a large 4600mm² surface area will also be present to manage heat efficiently.
Speaking more, the device will feature a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with Super HD (1.5K) resolution, supporting up to 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5200 nits peak brightness. For protection, Gorilla Glass 7i, MIL-STD-810H certification, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance are also confirmed.
On the battery side, a 6500mAh battery will be backed within the device, and it is claimed to offer up to two days of usage. A 90W TurboPower fast charger will also be provided inside the box.
For audio, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support will be offered. The device will also feature Moto AI, integrating tools like Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity. On the software side, it will run on Hello UI based on Android 16, and the brand has promised 3 years of Android OS upgrades along with 5 years of security updates.
Regarding its launch, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro smartphone is scheduled to debut in India on the 22nd of April 2026 at 12 PM via the Motorola India website and Flipkart.
