For the past month, Lenovo has been gradually teasing the specifications of its upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G tablet, revealing several details concerning its display, performance, design, and connectivity. Now, the brand has finally confirmed its launch date as well for the Chinese market.

Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G China Launch Date Confirmed
According to the latest poster shared by Lenovo through its official Weibo handle, the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will officially break cover in China on August 25th 2026 at 7 PM local time.
As far as its previously revealed specifications are concerned, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will feature a compact and lightweight design, measuring approximately 6.5mm in thickness and weighing around 298 grams. It will also feature four-sided equal-width ultra-narrow bezels measuring approximately 2.89mm, while a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout will house its front-facing camera. A 50MP camera will be present at the rear.
Coming to the display, the tablet will feature an 8.4-inch OLED esports display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 359 PPI pixel density, Real RGB pixel arrangement, and support for up to a 165Hz refresh rate. It will offer up to 4,000 nits of local peak brightness, 12-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision support, and Delta E < 1 colour accuracy. Each display will also be individually calibrated at the factory.
For gaming, the display supports up to a 3,400Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 360Hz native multi-finger touch sampling rate, 0.3ms screen response time, and 39ms end-to-end touch latency. Lenovo has also revealed AI Pixel Sniper, 10x super-resolution touch control, system-wide touch optimisation, and customisable touch settings for the tablet.
Speaking of its eye-care features, the display supports 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at low brightness and DC dimming at medium and high brightness levels. It can go as low as 1 nit in brightness, while the harmful blue-light proportion is claimed to remain below 6.75% and SVM below 0.4. Hardware-level low blue light, flicker-free viewing, e-book mode, automatic brightness memory, and AI-powered viewing posture, distance, and focus-duration reminders are also present.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset, paired with LPDDR5T RAM offering speeds of up to 10,667Mbps and UFS 4.1 Pro storage.
As its name itself suggests, the tablet will also support 5G connectivity, making it the first model in the Legion Y700 lineup to arrive with native 5G support. Lenovo’s Tianxi AI platform will also be offered on the device.
Now that the launch date has finally been announced, we can expect Lenovo to gradually reveal more details concerning the Legion Y700 Infinite 5G as we move closer to its August 24th China launch.
