Following the brand’s confirmation that the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Lenovo has now revealed a few additional details about the device, particularly regarding its display and touch-control capabilities.

Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G – Display Specifications Revealed
As per the latest details shared by the brand, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will feature an 8.4″ OLED esports display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a pixel density of 359 PPI, and a Real RGB pixel arrangement. The display is revealed to support a 165Hz refresh rate and offer up to 4,000 nits of local peak brightness.
Speaking about its colour capabilities, the screen will support a 12-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and Dolby Vision. It is also said to offer a colour accuracy value of Delta E < 1, and every display will be individually factory-calibrated for an original-colour viewing experience.
For gaming, the display will support an instantaneous touch-sampling rate of 3,400Hz, a native multi-finger touch-sampling rate of 360Hz, a screen response time of 0.3ms, and an end-to-end touch latency of 39ms. The tablet will further feature AI Pixel Sniper with 10x super-resolution touch control, system-wide touch software optimisation, and customisable touch-control settings.
Coming to its eye-protection features, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will use 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at low brightness levels and DC dimming at medium and high brightness levels. The proportion of harmful blue light is pointed out to remain below 6.75%, while the screen will also support a hardware-level 1-nit low-brightness night display and offer an SVM value below 0.4 for flicker control.
Other display features include hardware-level low-blue-light protection, a flicker-free viewing experience, automatic brightness memory based on the user’s usage habits, and multiple eye-protection modes, including an e-book reading mode. AI-powered reminders for viewing posture, viewing distance, and focus will also be offered.
The display has further received TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 5.0, hardware-level low-blue-light, flicker-free, and touch-control certifications.
Lenovo’s promotional material identifies the product as the ‘Lenovo AI Tablet Legion Y700 Wuji’, while also highlighting its 5G connectivity and Tianxi AI platform.
Apart from confirming the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Lenovo had previously revealed that the tablet will feature LPDDR5T RAM with a data transfer rate of up to 10,667Mbps, described by the brand as ultra-high-speed full-power memory. UFS 4.1 Pro internal storage will also be equipped on the device.
The exact launch date of the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G tablet has not yet been revealed by the brand. However, as July is almost coming to an end, the device could probably make its debut sometime in August 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!
